Treasurer report—Approved—Renewed CD for a 12 month CD—The liquid CD could not be used since we are restricted to only investing in government securities, since the CLID is a taxpayer funded entity.
Secretary report—Approved via email
Meeting Business
- Lake cleanup—Ice houses due off March 3 and therefore lake cleanup is set for March 8that 9 AM at the North East landing. Assistance from sportsmen’s club, Boy scouts and high school trap club. Meet at the northeast boat ramp. Scott will request a cleanup dumpster from Lakers New Prague Sanitary. They donate a dumpster for lake cleanup each year.
- Larry presented the weed harvester. Motion made by Larry, seconded by Ted and unanimous approval to start the process to applying for a grant and would cover 75% of the purchase of a new Eco-Harvester. Grant application deadline is July. Ted suggested we visit the manufacturer for a trial/tour in Plymouth, MN as soon as the ice is out.
