Cedar Lake Improvement District meeting notes from April 9th, 2013 6:30 - 8:00 pm at the New Prague Public Library Meeting Room -

Attendees: Tom Heide, Mike Speltz, Marie Jaeger, Lowell Mohn, Dave Nielsen, Brad Eller and Theresa Jacobsen, guest

Agenda Items for discussion:

  • Carp Fishing Tournament
  • All resident annual meeting agenda review and preparation

Brad updated everyone on his plans for the carp fishing tournament which will be on May 18th from 10 pm to 10 am. He will require about $500 to purchase posters to promote the event and equipment for weighing the fish. A motion was made and the board approved up to $500 in expenses for the event for these items. The tournament will be a shotgun start and have up to 8 boats participating with no more than 3 individuals per boat. Cash prizes will be awarded for the largest fish and the most fish taken. Details on prize money specifics have yet to be decided.
